Sometimes a liquid threadlocker isn’t ideal, if it’s too fluid or tricky to apply. In those cases, choose Loctite 249. It’s designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners requiring normal disassembly with standard hand tools without heat. It is supplied in a low-tack tape, which allows for an easy, drip-free application. Once applied to the bolt, it can be used for immediate assembly or days later, and provides consistent strength on a variety of metal substrates.
