Designed to protect from rust, galling, and corrosion, the Loctite LB 8008 C5-A anti-seize lubricant can be applied to numerous types of fasteners, including screws, nuts, pipes, exhaust bolts, and brake caliper bolts. And works on materials such as copper, brass, cast iron, steel, common alloys, including stainless steel, but also plastics, and non-metallic gasketing materials. Loctite LB 8008 C5-A is a smooth copper-colored, high-temperature resistant paste typically used for original equipment and maintenance, and equipment associated with petroleum chemicals, steel mills, power plants, marine, and foundries. It’s tested to perform smoothly in applications with an operating range of -20°F to 1800°F (-29°C to 982°C).
